What are Work Orders? #
Work orders represent service calls, maintenance appointments, and repair jobs for your customers.
Accessing Work Orders #
Click Jobs in the navigation menu to see all work orders. You can also access them from the Calendar view.
Creating a Work Order #
Method 1: From Jobs List #
- Click New Work Order button
- Fill in the work order form
- Click Create
Method 2: From Calendar #
- Click on a date/time slot in the calendar
- Form opens with date pre-filled
- Complete and save
Method 3: From Customer Profile #
- Open customer’s detail page
- Click New Work Order
- Customer info is pre-filled
Work Order Form Fields #
- Customer: Select customer (Required)
- Property: Service location (Required)
- Work Order Type: Repair, Maintenance, Installation (Required)
- Description: Issue description (Required)
- Priority: High, Medium, Low (Required)
- Scheduled Date/Time: Appointment (Required)
- Technician: Assigned tech (Optional)
Priority Levels #
- High: Emergency situations
- Medium: Important but not urgent
- Low: Routine maintenance
Assigning Technicians #
- Open the work order
- Click Assign Technician
- Select from available technicians
- Save
