Appointment Reminders

Customer Notifications #

Customers automatically receive notifications about their appointments:

  • Confirmation: When appointment is scheduled
  • Reminder: Configurable time before appointment (24 hours, etc.)
  • Day-of: Morning of the appointment
  • Technician En Route: When technician is dispatched

Technician Notifications #

Technicians receive:

  • New assignment notifications
  • Schedule change alerts
  • Daily schedule summary

Configuring Reminders/Notifications #

 

Recurring Appointments (coming soon) #

For maintenance contracts or repeat services:

  1. Create a work order as normal
  2. Enable Recurring option
  3. Set frequency (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually)
  4. Set end date or number of occurrences
  5. Save

Handling Schedule Conflicts #

The system may warn you if:

  • Technician already has a job at that time
  • Job overlaps with another appointment
  • No travel time between jobs

Resolve by rescheduling, assigning different technician, or extending hours.
